Volga Shipping Company’s subsidiary Volgo-Baltic Logistic LLC was established in 2008 for arranging multimodal transportation of general and project cargo.

Together with Volga Shipping, VBL takes part in projects on development of hydrocarbon fields in the Caspian Sea, expansion of RF refining complex, nuclear power industry, chemical industry, machine building and shipbuilding through delivery of equipment by river-sea going ships and articulated tug-barge units.

The principle of the company activities is based on a comprehensive approach to cargo transportation, from project feasibility study to shipping, arranging of cargo unloading and its delivery to the site.

Cooperation with other transport companies of T.A. MANAGEMENT enables the company offer the entire range of services on delivery of project cargo through logistic chains involving other types of transport – railway, road transport and port forwarding.

With a fleet of river-sea going vessels and ATB units (allowing for Ro-Ro loading/unloading of equipment), Volga Shipping and VBL apply flexible approach to their customers’ logistic tasks thereby confirming their high reputation in the market of project cargo shipping.

Each project undergoes evaluation by the company experts; VBL contracts have credentials of large equipment manufacturers, contractors and customers.

The company has developed unique technologies being permanently improved with the introduction of new vessels.

Key clients of Volga Shipping and VBL in terms of project cargo delivery are SIBUR, Gazprom, Gazpromneft, Lukoil, Rosatom, TAIF NK, Tatneft, Eurochem.

Between 2003 and 2017, the company delivered equipment for oil and gas production on the shelf of the Caspian Sea, to Tobolskpolymer, Zapsibneftekhim, Omsk / Moscow / Tuapse / Novokuibyshev / Syzran refineries, Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat, Rostov / Novoronezh / Leningrad nuclear power plants, Baltiysky Zavod, Portovaya GPP.
