Delivery of equipment for lng facility by ships of north-western shipping company

North-Western Shipping Company (NWSC, a company of UCL Holding) has completed the delivery of equipment under the project on construction of a facility for production, storage and shipment of LNG (liquefied natural gas). The delivery was performed between November 2017 and July 2019. Project cargoes were delivered from European ports to a dedicated berth of compressor station KS Portovaya in the Vyborg District and to the berth of Bronka port in the Lomonosov District.

The Amethyst, Neva Leader and Rusich ships were involved. They carried a total of some 9,500 tonnes (60,000 freight tons). In 2019, NWSC ships made three voyages from the Netherlands and one voyage from Italy. The 19th batch delivered by M/V Serdolik from Rotterdam to the berth of KS Portovaya was the last one. The ship arrived at the port of destination on July 22.

The facility being built by PAO Gazprom is located near KS Portovaya in the Vyborg District of the Leningrad Region. The facility will be put into operation in 2020. It will ensure gas supplies to the Nord Stream main line as well as bunkering of tankers carrying LNG (liquefied natural gas).

With their many years' experience of equipment delivery, North-Western Shipping Company and its subsidiary, Volgo-Baltic Logistic, take part in projects significant for the development of Russia’s regions.
