The personnel changes are aimed at further strengthening the management team of the shipping company.
By resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Volga Shipping Company JSC, Dmitry Pritula has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company. He assumed his duties on January 13, 2026.
Dmitry was born in 1977. In 1999, he graduated from Moscow State Open University with a degree in Management. In 2015, he earned an MBA from the Higher School of Economics, majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
He joined the Volga Shipping Company after leaving his position as Chief Executive Officer of Transport Technologies Ltd. Prior to that, he worked at First Freight Company JSC, where he progressed from Head of the Department of Cooperation with Coal Industry Enterprises to First Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Board Member, overseeing the production and commercial unit.
In addition, from 2018 to 2024 Dmitry served on the Board of Directors of Volga-Flot JSC. He is familiar with the industry specifics, corporate governance principles, the company's strategic objectives, as well as its key business processes and financial model.
In his new role, Dmitry will focus on strengthening key development priorities of the Volga Shipping Company which include fleet renewal and modernisation, improving business efficiency and customer service quality, managing the talent pool, as well as implementing a number of strategic projects.
Pavel Vinogradov will continue his career outside Volga Shipping Company.
