At the meeting dedicated to the Sea and River Fleet Workers’ Day held on June 29, Aleksandr Shishkin, Managing Director of Volga Shipping Company (a company of UCL Holding), congratulated the personnel on their professional holiday.
Two employees of Volga Shipping Company were given the awards of RF Transport Ministry, 10 employees received the letters of appreciation and honorary diplomas from the Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor.
The best employees working on ships and on shore were given money rewards and letters of appreciation from the company management.
On the eve of the professional holiday, festive events were traditionally held for the shipping company veterans in Nizhny Novgorod, Bor, Gorodets, Oktyabrsky, Pamat’ Parizhskoy Kommuny, Toljatti and Volzhsky.
AO Volga Shipping Company is one of the biggest transport companies in Russia. It was founded in 1843. The company transports cargoes along rivers and lakes of the country. In 2017, Volga Shipping Company carried 6.5 million tonnes of cargo.
