Ceremonial granting of the Employer Compliance Certificate to Volga Shipping Company (part of UCL Holding) was held at the Nizhny Novgorod Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 16 May 2018. The company is included into a unified register of the Nizhny Novgorod region employers with guaranteed observance of employees' labor rights.
The compliance of Volga Shipping Company’s labour conditions with Russia’s labour legislation has been confirmed by the State Labour Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The experts of SLI have checked the company’s 2017 declaration and decided to include it into a unified register of employers who guarantee observance of labor rights.
The Employer Compliance Certificate project is being implemented by SLI with the assistance of the Nizhny Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs as well as Nizhny Novgorod Region Association of Trade Unions with the purpose of sustainable business development.
